CALDWELL, Idaho — The College of Idaho women's soccer team delivered a commanding performance Friday afternoon at Simplot Stadium, overwhelming Corban University with a 10-0 victory to open their home stand.
The Yotes (now 4-1 on the season) were relentless from the opening whistle, scoring five goals in each half and outshooting the Warriors 39-1. The offensive explosion was led by Abbi Roubidoux, Madison Little, Eden Makaafi, and Hailey Rogers, each of whom netted multiple goals in the win.
Roubidoux opened the scoring in the 12th minute and added her second in the 88th, also contributing two assists. Madison Little struck twice in the first half, including a well-placed finish off a Reagan Flynn assist. Makaafi tallied goals in the 33rd and 39th minutes, showcasing her ability to find space and finish with precision. Rogers capped the scoring with goals in the 68th and 89th minutes, the latter assisted by Roubidoux.
Flynn was a key playmaker throughout the match, recording two assists and helping set the tone with aggressive corner kicks and midfield control. Goalkeepers Hailey Jo Parks and Alivia Brenchley combined for the shutout, with Brenchley earning the win and one save in nearly 70 minutes of action.
The Yotes will look to carry their momentum into Saturday's matchup against Bushnell University, with kickoff set for 4 p.m. at Simplot Stadium.
