CALDWELL, Idaho – No. 3 College of Idaho (No.1 CCC) capped off its regular season Cascade Conference slate with a dominant 92-66 win over Northwest (WA) on Senior Night at the J.A. Albertson Activities Center.
The Yotes (26-2, 21-1 CCC) honored nine seniors before the game: Johnny Radford, Tyler Robinett, Caden Handran, Paul Wilson, Drew Wyman, Bryan St. Clair, Alex Germer, Straton Rogers, and four-year student assistant Devin Harris. St. Clair led the way with a career-high 16 points, while Radford added 18 points, connecting on three shots from beyond the arc.
College of Idaho controlled the game from the start, shooting 48.6% from the field and forcing 14 turnovers. Rogers hauled in a game-high 12 rebounds, and Wyman contributed 12 points on an efficient 4-of-5 shooting night. The Yotes' bench played a pivotal role, outscoring Northwest's reserves 48-18.
Northwest (5-23, 4-18 CCC) was led by Nash Wobrock, who scored a team-high 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Caleb Whalen added 16 points, hitting all three of his attempts from beyond the arc.
With the victory, College of Idaho completed a weekend sweep and closed out its conference schedule. The Yotes, who secured home-court advantage for the Cascade Conference Tournament last weekend at Warner Pacific, will open the postseason with a quarterfinal matchup on Tuesday, Feb. 25, at 7 p.m. If victorious, they will also have the opportunity to host the semifinals on Friday, Feb. 28, and the championship game on Monday, March 3.
