CALDWELL, Idaho - College of Idaho bounced back in emphatic fashion Saturday night, rolling past Park-Gilbert 100-73 for its first home win of the season.
The Yotes (2-2) came out blazing, shooting 63.9% in the first half and burying nine 3-pointers to build a 62-30 lead at the break. They finished at 48.6% from the field and dominated the glass 46-35.
Senior guard Alex Germer led the charge with 18 points on 6-of-8 shooting, including five-for-five triples in the opening half. Dougie Peoples added 10 points and four assists, while Samaje Morgan stuffed the stat sheet with nine points and eight assists.
Off the bench, Chance Winter provided a spark with 13 points and six rebounds, and Utrillo Morris chipped in 10 points and five assists. The Yotes' reserves combined for 46 points.
College of Idaho shared the ball all night, racking up 22 assists against just 12 turnovers and scoring 38 points in the paint.
Park-Gilbert (1-2) was paced by Toate Sika, who scored 20 points and grabbed five boards, and Tanner Pate, who hit four 3-pointers for 17 points.
