CALDWELL, Idaho – The College of Idaho Women's Basketball team delivered a commanding performance at the J.A. Albertson Activities Center, securing a 79-66 victory against Multnomah University. The Yotes showcased exceptional teamwork, led by a stunning individual display from Anna Mooney.
Mooney was the star of the night, going 8-for-10 from the field, including an impressive 6-for-8 from beyond the arc. Her precision shooting contributed to a game-high 23 points. In addition to her scoring prowess, she grabbed 7 rebounds and dished out 7 assists, underscoring her all-around contribution to the Yotes' success.
The College of Idaho bench also played a pivotal role, adding 17 points to the scoreboard, showcasing the team's depth and versatility. The Yotes dominated in multiple facets of the game, shooting 61.2% from the field and hitting 50% of their three-point attempts, a testament to their offensive efficiency.
Defensively, the Yotes out-rebounded the Lions 32-19, creating crucial opportunities and maintaining control throughout the game.
