Yotes Start 2024 Campaign with Individual Wins
TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Idaho men's and women's cross-country teams both earned second-place finishes at the CSI Classic on September 6.
The men were led by Hayden Bostrom, who finished 1st overall with a time of 21:44.3. Elias Everist (2nd, 21:46.1), Oclan Ryan (6th, 22:18.4), Brevin Vaughan (10th, 22:47.4), and Isaac Anttonen (11th, 23:23.9) rounded out the top five. All five men finished in the top twelve.
The women's team saw Kahea Figueira lead the way, finishing 1st with a time of 18:19.6. Kylee Quinton (4th, 18:23.1), Julia Gilbert (7th, 18:51.7), Molly Connor (16th, 19:25.0), and Sarah Bolin (21st, 19:52.2) contributed strong finishes.
Northwest Nazarene won the men's event, while BYU secured the women's title.
The Yotes will next compete at the CCC Preview in Portland, Oregon, on September 20 at the Rose City Golf Club.
