KANSAS CITY, Mo. – College of Idaho's Daniel Butler has been named the NAIA Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week. He was selected based on his performances from September 16-22 and was chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.
Butler, a graduate student from Buhl, Idaho, swept the competition at the CCC Preview Meet in Portland, Oregon. He finished ahead of 94 total runners with a time of 24:32.67 in the 8k, propelling C of I to a team title.
Next up, the Yotes are set to compete at the Charles Bowles Invitational in Salem, Ore., on Saturday, October 5th.
