MISSOULA, Mont. - The Pacific Northwest Collegiate Lacrosse League (PNCLL) announced the Division DII All-Conference team. This season, individual play allowed six Yotes to be named to the first and second teams and an honorable mention.
Junior
Paul O'Neill was selected to the first team as a midfielder. The Middie led the Yotes with 61 points on the season. O'Neill scored 30 goals and assisted another 31. He was fast in picking up loose balls by grabbing 34 ground balls en route to a semi final appearance in the PNCLL tournament.Â
Another first team selection was seniorÂ
Ty Burnett in defense. The defender picked up 54 loose balls. The senior's work rate and leadership was critical in big games this season. He also found the clinical touch when needed by putting up four points on the season (2 goals and 2 assists) including the game winner in the triple overtime winner against the Griz.
The Yotes also earned four second team honorees.
Alex Ozuna (Attack),
Kale Brunmeier (LSM), and
Kip Childs (Midfield), and
David Alvarado (FOGO).
Joaquin Ruby was named as an honorable mention for the goalie slot.
