Chandler Stocking went 3-for-3 at the plate as College of Idaho baseball dropped a 7-3 decision to University of British Columbia on Sunday.

The Thunderbirds plated the first five runs of the game before College of Idaho got on the scoreboard with a pair of runs in its half of the seventh. Mitchell Middleness went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and a RBI, plus Jonny McGill had three RBI in the win.

Stocking got the first hit for the Yotes in the fourth with a bunt single to break up the no-hit bid for UBC starter Daniel Orfaly, who went on to get the win. Orfaly went five innings, allowing just two hits and a strikeout to raise his record to 2-1.

Down 5-0 in the seventh,
Jordan Kelly got College of Idaho on the scoreboard with a RBI single. Then, the next run came in on a sacrifice fly by
Darren Smith to make it a 5-2 game. Smith drew a bases loaded walk in the ninth for the final run.
