Lincoln, Calif. – No. 13 College of Idaho softball team bounced back from a pair of losses on Tuesday to post a pair of 10-2 wins over Simpson and Menlo, respectively on Friday.
College of Idaho (7-5) overcame a 1-0 deficit in the second inning as they plated three runs in the second inning to take its first lead of the day on its way to the victory over Simpson. Two of the three runs came in on a two-RBI double by
Lindsey Jones.
The offense came thru with nine hits in the win to give ample support to starting pitcher
Annie Polster, who picked up her fourth win on the season.

Nixon each had two hits in the win. Nixon also drove in three and
Kaylee MacDannald brought in a pair on a two-RBI single in the fifth for the Yotes. Polster limited Simpson to just four hits in the win.
College of Idaho recorded 10 hits and scored in five of the six innings on its way to a 10-2 win over the Oaks of Menlo.

Madelyn Powell each drove in two in the win. Yotes starting pitcher
Grace Neer picked up the win, going 4.2 innings and striking out three.
The Yotes scored two in the first inning for the early lead and Menlo cut into the lead in its half of the inning with a RBI ground out. College of Idaho got the run back in the second to make it a 3-1 game before they plated three each in the third and fourth to take a 9-1 lead. The big blow in the third was a two-RBI single by MacDannald and in the fourth was a three-run home run by Walker for the Yotes.
College of Idaho will have a pair of games on Saturday with another matchup against Menlo at 10 a.m. (MT), followed by a contest against Jessup at 12:30 p.m. (MT).
