WIN, WIN, WIN: College of Idaho is in the midst of a season-best three-game winning streak with wins overs Walla Walla (76-65), Warner Pacific (61-50) and Multnomah (76-64).
PERFECTION by HIRSCH: McKenzie Hirsch made all seven of her shots from the field, including all four of her 3-pointer attempts in the 61-50 win over Warner Pacific for a new school record effort from the field.
BERESFORD X2: Brooke Beresford has recorded five double doubles on the season. Her last double double was a 10 point, 11 rebound effort against Multnomah on Feb. 10. Earlier this year, she had a double double against Northwest, where she poured in 12 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.
Beresford has made an immediate impact with her team-best 6.6 rebounds per game to go along with 9.1 points per contest. The 6.6 rebounds per game is 30th all-time in program history for a single season.
3-POINT MIA: Through nearly two seasons of action,
Mia Austin has already made 128 3-pointers at a 39% clip. The 128 3-pointers is already sixth most in program history and making 39% of her efforts ranks second all-time in program history.
DISHES FROM JADA: Senior guard
Jada Reed has handed out 48 assists in 2023-24 / 191 for her career. The 191 assists ranks 16th in program history as she moves up the charts in her final season.
SPECIAL KYLIE: Kylie Waltermeyer has made seven of her last 16 3-point field goals in the three-game winning streak for the Yotes. For the season, she is shooting 31.3% (10 of 32) on 3-point attempts in wins.
OVER THE MOONey: Anna Mooney has scored in double figures in five games; most recently, she had 12 points in the win over Multnomah. In the win over the Lions, she made seven of eight free-throw attempts. Earlier this year, she made all eight of her attempts in the previous meeting against Northwest. Mooney is averaging 19.1 minutes, 6.8 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game on the season.
OVERTIME BASKETBALL: The last meeting against Evergreen was the first overtime game of the season for College of Idaho. It was the first overtime game since January 21, 2023 against SOU and first home overtime game since November 23, 2021 against Eastern Oregon.
MS. EMMA: Emma Anderson, who missed the first three games, has gradually started to find her groove. She had 13 points and eight rebounds in the win at Corban. She followed that up with 13 rebounds and six points against Bushnell. The 13 rebounds are a career-high and the 13 points match a career-high as she also had 13 against Multnomah on February 19, 2022. Anderson had her first double double of the season against Evergreen, scoring 10 points and grabbing 11 rebounds against the Geoducks.
DOWNTOWN: College of Idaho has made at least six 3-pointers in the last three games and in 16 games for the season. The Yotes did that in 18 contests in 2022-23 on its way to averaging 7.3 3-point field goals made per game. The 7.3 made per game is the highest since 2013-14 when the Yotes made 8.7 3-pointers per contest.
BOARD CHATTER: College of Idaho outrebounded Walla Walla by 18 boards on January 5, The +18 advantage on the board is a season-high for the Yotes is the highest since a +24 advantage against the Wolves on December 30, 2022. The 17 offensive rebounds against Bushnell were the most since a season-opening 19 board game against Montana Western.
CHARITY STRIPE CONVERSATION: College of Idaho shot a season-high 32 free throws in the 68-62 overtime loss to Evergreen on January 20. The 29 free throws made against the Geoducks are both the most made and attempted since they went 35 of 43 against Warner Pacific on February 9, 2019.
