College of Idaho Men's Basketball Travel to Evergreen and Northwest

SERIES HISTORY: College of Idaho heads into the matchup against Evergreen with a 41-8 advantage in the all-time series with wins in the last 25 contests. Saturday's opponent against Northwest has the Yotes holding a 36-23 advantage in the series with victories in its last 15 games. The 25-straight wins over the Geoducks is the longest among all opponents in program history.

1,000-POINT PLATEAU: Jake O'Neil became the 31st player in program history to reach the 1,000-point mark in the 79-51 win over Multnomah in program history. He was joined in the 1,000-point club by Johnny Radford, who reached the mark with his second 3-pointer in the win over Walla Walla. Drew Wyman became the third Yote with over 1,000 career points with his 13-point effort at Bushnell. It is the first time in program history that the Yotes have had three 1,000-point scorers on the roster in the same year.

20 Win: With the first 20-win season in 1954-55, College of Idaho has had 26 20-win seasons and seven of the last eight seasons after picking up win No. 20 in a 106-61 rout of Walla Walla. Colby Blaine and the Yotes have won at least 30 games, four of the last five seasons including a school record 36 in 2022-23.

DIALING IT UP FROM LONG DISTANCE: In the last nine games, College of Idaho has made at least 10 3-pointers for the first time in program history. Last time out, College of Idaho made a season-high 20 3-pointers for the first time since they made 20 triples against Northwest Indian College on Nov. 23, 2018.
  
THE ROUT IS ON: The Yotes have won the last 10 game by an average of 36.1 points with a high of a 67-point rout of Evergreen. Seven of the last 10 games have seen College of Idaho have hit the 100-point mark. In 18 of the 22 wins, College of Idaho has won by at least 10 points.

BALL SECURITY: In 12 of the last 13 games, College of Idaho has had less than 10 turnovers. They had a season-low six turnovers in the 83-59 win over Oregon Tech. Twice, last year, College of Idaho had five turnovers in wins at Corban (Jan. 14) and Oregon Tech (Jan. 20).

RECIPE FOR SUCCESS: College of Idaho put up 50+ points in the first 20 minutes for the fourth-straight game and won by at least 24 points for the ninth-consecutive tilt. The recipe for this success has been in the last nine games, the Yotes have shot at least 47.7% from the field and made double-digit 3-pointers, including a season-high 20 against Multnomah in the win.
