College of Idaho Women's Basketball to Take On No. 7 LC State and Walla Walla

HOMECOMING OF SORTS: Saturday's game against Walla Walla will mark the return of six Yotes to The Evergreen State. The six Wasihington natives are just one short of the team best seven from the state of Idaho.

MORE ON MIA: MIa Austin is the top scorer for College of Idaho, averaging 12.4 points per game. She has scored 247 points in 20 games, making a team best 96 (4.8 made/g) on 249 attempts (12.5 att/g). In 10 of 20 games, she has scored in double figures including a season/career-high 26 against Eastern Oregon on Dec. 9, 2023.

DISHES FROM JADA: Senior guard Jada Reed has handed out 37 assists in 2023-24 / 180 for her career. The 180 assists ranks 18th in program history as moves up the charts in her final season. 
 
THEFTS FROM JADA:
Senior guard Jada Reed came away with six steals against Oregon Tech on January 26. The last time that a Yote had six steals in a game was when Alyssa Case had six at Northwest Christian on January 19, 2018.

WHOOO IS KYLIE: Kylie Waltermeyer made a name for herself against Oregon Tech. Against the Owls, last Friday, she had a season-high 13 points with a pair of 3-pointers in a season-high 31 minutes of action.

STARTING NOD: Kylie Waltermeyer and Jada Reed are the only two to play and start all 20 games. Brooke Beresford has been in the starting lineup for 16 contests, Mia Austin and Bryanna Graham have been for 14 and 13, respectively.

BERESFORD X2: Brooke Beresford picked up her third double double of the season in the win over Northwest when scored 12 points and pulled down 10 rebounds. Beresford has scored in double figures in nine games, five of the last six contests for College of Idaho. 

OVERTIME BASKETBALL: The game against Evergreen was the first overtime game of the season for College of Idaho. It was the first overtime game since January 21, 2023 against SOU and first home overtime game since November 23, 2021 against Eastern Oregon.

CHARITY STRIPE CONVERSATION: College of Idaho shot a season-high 32 free throws in the 68-62 overtime loss to Evergreen on January 20. The 29 free throws made against the Geoducks are both the most made and attempted since they went 35 of 43 against Warner Pacific on February 9, 2019.

MS. EMMA: Emma Anderson, who missed the first three games, has gradually started to find her groove. She had 13 points and eight rebounds in the win at Corban. She followed that up with 13 rebounds and six points against Bushnell. The 13 rebounds are a career-high and the 13 points match a career-high as she also had 13 against Multnomah on February 19, 2022. Anderson had her first double double of the season against Evergreen, scoring 10 points and grabbing 11 rebounds against the Geoducks.

DELIVERY: On four occasions, most recently at Corban, College of Idaho has had 16 assists in a game. The Yotes have a 3-1 mark in those contests.

DOWNTOWN: College of Idaho has made at least six 3-pointers in 13 games - including the last two games. The Yotes did that in 18 contests in 2022-23 on its way to averaging 6.96 3-point field goals made per game. The 6.96 made per game is the highest since 2013-14 when the Yotes made 8.7 3-pointers per contest.
