Yotes Lax Readying Up For Strong 2025 Season

CALDWELL, Idaho - The College of Idaho lacrosse team is pleased to announce its schedule for the 2025 season. The Yotes are set to challenge themselves against 5 teams that finished the 2024 season in the top 25. The schedule is headlined with a matchup against the 2024 National Champion in Montana State. It also features Washington State, Utah State, Montana, Northwest Nazarene and Arizona Christian.
 
"With a returning All-American and 6 All-Conference Team Members, we will have strong veteran leadership. Pairing that with our 17 newcomers, I am very excited to see what this team can do. This schedule will challenge us, but we want to play the best there is to offer." Said Coach Drake O'Neill. Last year under then first year Coach O'Neill the Yotes went 7-4 including a triple overtime victory over No. 7 Univ. of Montana. 
 
The Yotes will look to build off of last year's momentum with the start of the season at Simplot Stadium against Gonzaga on February 14^th at 7:30pm.
 
The season will wrap up at the 2025 PNCLL Tournament, April 25th-26th in Seattle with a spot at the MCLA national tournament in Round Rock, Texas, May 5-10 on the line.
