PORTLAND, Ore. — The College of Idaho cross country teams dominated the Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) Championships, presented by U.S. Bank, with both the men's and women's squads capturing titles at Rose City Golf Course on Friday. The Yotes women, ranked No. 6 nationally, extended their title streak to a record-setting six consecutive championships, while the top-ranked men's team continued their unbeaten season.
The Yotes women tallied a score of 25, spearheaded by Kahea Figueira, who clinched her first individual CCC title by completing the 6K course in 21:53.85. Kylee Quinton (22:23.20) and Julia Gilbert (22:29.99) joined her on the podium, placing third and fourth. Four additional Yotes finished as All-CCC honorees: Kimbrie Knudsen (8th, 23:00.88), Molly Connor (9th, 23:01.26), Larissa Mauer (12th, 23:19.39), and Sarah Bolin (13th, 23:19.92). Head coach Dominic Bolin was named CCC Women's Coach of the Year for the third straight season.
In the men's 8K race, Daniel Butler secured his first individual CCC title, clocking in at 24:12.88. The Yotes earned a score of 24, with Elias Everist (24:31.57) and Hayden Bostrom (24:51.01) finishing third and fifth. The men's team added three more All-CCC honorees, including Cyress Wilson (6th, 25:08.99), Oclan Ryan (9th, 25:23.30), and Brevin Vaughan (10th, 25:31.37). Bolin was also awarded CCC Men's Coach of the Year, marking a dual coaching honor.
