BOISE, Idaho – The College of Idaho women's basketball team showcased determination and grit in their last exhibition of the season against NCAA Division I opponent Boise State at the ExtraMile Arena in Boise. Despite a challenging matchup, the Yotes fought hard, finishing with 34 points in an 86-34 contest.
Mia Austin led the Yotes in scoring, posting 9 points and demonstrating her ability to score against a Mountain West defense. Lainee Houillon anchored the team defensively and on the boards, leading with 7 rebounds.
The game marked a learning experience for the Yotes as they prepare to take on Simpson University. Fans are invited to cheer on the team at the JA Albertson Activities Center on Friday, November 22, at 5 p.m.
