KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – The College of Idaho women's soccer team erupted with three second-half goals to secure a 3-0 victory over Oregon Tech on Friday, extending their undefeated record in Cascade Collegiate Conference play. Junior
Natasja Davis scored twice in quick succession, marking her second consecutive game with a brace.
The Yotes (6-0-2, 4-0-0 CCC) broke the scoreless deadlock just 58 seconds into the second half when Davis slotted home a pass from
Larissa Wegner. Moments later, Davis struck again in the 49th minute, assisted by
Shaelyn Olsen, doubling the Yotes' lead.
The barrage continued in the 55th minute when
Eden Makaafi found the back of the net, also assisted by Wegner, capping off a blistering stretch that saw the Yotes score three goals in less than ten minutes.
Goalkeeper
Alivia Brenchley recorded three saves to keep a clean sheet, as the defense stifled Oregon Tech (8-2-1, 4-1-0 CCC).
The Yotes will be back in action tomorrow, traveling to Southern Oregon for a 1 PM MT kickoff.
