McMINNVILLE, Ore. – The College of Idaho cross country teams split their efforts this weekend, with part of the squad competing at the Linfield George Oja Invitational while others prepare for a trip to Nebraska next weekend.
In the women's 6K race, Sage Martin led the way for the Yotes, finishing 51st with a time of 23:29.2. Kiely Munson followed closely behind, taking 85th with a time of 24:33.0.
On the men's side, Luke Ammirati was the lone Yote to place within the top 100, finishing 83rd in the 8K race with a time of 26:32.20. Both teams faced stiff competition from larger programs, including Portland, Oregon State and Central Arizona.
