CALDWELL, Idaho - 15 3-pointers to go along with a 56-19 advantage in bench scoring and a 26-4 margin in points off turnovers all led No. 5 College of Idaho to a 101-41 rout of Walla Walla to tip off the 2024 portion of the schedule.

College of Idaho (11-2, 6-1 CCC) was led by a pair of 16-point efforts from
Samaje Morgan and
Alex Germer.
Johnny Radford added 13 in the win to complement an all-around scoring effort.Â

Walla Walla (3-9, 2-5 CCC) picked up a game-high 17 points from Soren Dalan.Â

The rout saw College of Idaho lead from start to finish on its way to the 60-point win and a 40-point lead, 55-15 at the halftime break. The defensive effort that saw C of I hold Walla Walla to 15 points was the lowest by an opponent since a 12-point effort against Northwest, last season on January 7. Also in the first 20 minutes, College of Idaho shot 64.7% (22-for-34) from the field on its way to the win.

Next, College of Idaho will face LC State on Saturday at 5 p.m. as part of the opening weekend for the 2024 portion of the schedule.
