College of Idaho Men's Basketball to Host Oregon Tech and Southern Oregon

SERIES HISTORY: Friday's matchup will feature a pair of nationally-ranked teams as College of Idaho enters the contest at the No. 3 spot and Oregon Tech is No. 24 in the latest rankings. It will be the first matchup of the season for the Yotes against a nationally-ranked squad. The series history between the two teams will be the 104th contest between the Owls and the Coyotes. College of Idaho has won seven of the last eight meetings and leads the all-time series 59-44 for a series that dates back to 1982. Saturday's matchup against Southern Oregon will enter the contest with a 59-26 all-time mark between SOU and C of I. The Raiders ended a six-game winning streak in the earlier meeting for a series that dates back to 1961.

BY THE NUMBERS:
• Century Mark:
- College of Idaho eclipsed the 100-point plateau in the last three games - 101 at Bushnell (Jan. 13); 108 vs. Northwest (Jan. 19); 107 vs. Evergreen (Jan. 20) for the first time in program history.
• Familiar starting five:
- 60 for Drew Wyman and 51 for Jake O'Neil...a stretch of 71-consecutive starts for Caden Handran against Oregon Tech and Tyler Robinett ended against Montana Western.
• 1,143-consecutive games with a 3-pointer
- Just four programs in college basketball have a streak at or longer than the Yotes. UNLV has made a 3-pointer in 1,209 games; followed by Duke (1,206), CCC foe, Corban (1,196) and a share of third with East Tennessee State (1,143).
• Half-time advantage:
- 46-straight when they lead at half...three times (most recently at Corban on January 12) in 2023-24, the Yotes have overcame a halftime deficit to win. They trailed just twice in 2022-23 at halftime on its way to a 1-1 record in the two contests.

1,000-POINT PLATEAU: Jake O'Neil became the 31st player in program history to reach the 1,000-point mark in the 79-51 win over Multnomah in program history. He was joined in the 1,000-point club by Johnny Radford, who reached the mark with his second 3-pointer in the win over Walla Walla. Drew Wyman became the third Yote with over 1,000 career points with his 13-point effort at Bushnell. It is the first time in program history that the Yotes have had three 1,000-point scorers on the roster in the same year.

DOUBLE DOUBLE, DOUBLE DOUBLE (CAREER):
Jake O'Neil: 16 (25; last vs. Evergreen (1/20/24)
- O'Neil has recorded a double double in the last two games, scoring 12 points and grabbing 10 rebounds against Northwest and scoring 12 points and grabbing 11 rebounds in the win over Evergreen. It is the seven th time in his career that he has recorded back-to-back double doubles.

THE 3-POINT FIELD GOAL GIFT: College of Idaho knocked down 17 3-pointers in the 107-40 win over Walla Walla on Friday, January 19. The most and at home since they drained 18 since they made 18 against Walla Walla on January 28, 2023. Last season, College of Idaho made 320 3-pointers, the most since a school record 368 in 2018-19.
