CALDWELL, Idaho - The 17th-ranked College of Idaho women's soccer team racked up another victory Saturday night, taking down the Oregon Tech Owls by a score of 3-0.
The Yotes defense was stellar once again, shutting down the Owls, only allowing one shot on goal, and three total shots. On the offensive side of the ball,
Natasja Davis continued to roll through opponents, scoring her ninth of the season to add to her CCC lead in the 29th minute. The goal from Davis would hold to be the halftime lead for the Yotes, sitting at one goal.
The majority of the Yotes offense would come with under five minutes to play in the game, as
Chloe Teets took a cross from
Alondra Osuna and buried it into the top corner of the net, giving the Yotes a 2-0 lead. Just over two minutes later,
Gianna Yslava found the ball and crossed it into the box, with the ball sailing into the back of the net to give the Yotes their 3-0 lead that would hold to be the final.
The Yotes will return to the pitch to play Providence in Great Falls on Friday.
