CALDWELL, Idaho - The 17th-ranked College of Idaho women's soccer program continued to be on a roll as of late, taking down the Southern Oregon Raiders by a score of 1-0 on Friday night.
The defense made it easy for
Hannah McFadden in net, as SOU was only able to register a single shot on goal, which was stopped by
Alexis Haws after bouncing around in the box. The Yotes offense was stellar yet again, firing off another 17 shots in the win, with seven of those shots being on target.
The first half saw the Yotes tally seven shots while not allowing the Raiders to do much on offense, holding them without a recorded shot in the period. In the second half, the Yotes were able to break through as
Natasja Davis took the Cascade Conference lead in goals, scoring her eighth of the season in just 10 games.
The Yotes defense was able to hold the Raider offense in check after the Davis goal, maintaining most of the possession in the Friday night victory.
The Yotes will return to Simplot Stadium on Saturday to round out homecoming weekend, hosting Oregon Tech with kickoff slated for 8 p.m.
