Jonah Hultberg became the program's all-time hits leader as the Yotes baseball team swept a doubleheader for a second-straight day against Eastern Oregon to conclude the regular season.
Hultberg led off game one of the doubleheader with a two-run home run as the Yotes plated five runs in the first inning en route to a 17-9 win in game one of the doubleheader. The two-run home run was career hit 275 for Hultberg, who eclipsed the mark of 274 held by Greg Stalling from 2003-06.
In the win, College of Idaho finished the contest with 16 hits as Alex McFarland paced the attack with five hits,
Skyler Sadora added three and
Jake Denison and
Jordan Kelly each had two. Kelly drove in four and McFarland drove in three in the win.
After a five-run first, College of Idaho added six in the fourth, one more each in the seventh and the ninth and three in the eighth en route to the win.
Dawson Cummins was one of six pitchers for the Yotes in the win, earning the win as he tossed five innings and struck out six for his first win on the season.
The nightcap saw College of Idaho complete the doubleheader sweep with an 11-6 win over the Mountaineers.
Skyler Sadora had two more hits and Hultberg added another hit to go along with three RBI in the win.
Kirby Robertson hit a three-run home run in the first inning in the winning effort.

Kris Kirkpatrick pitched 6.2 inning, striking out a season-high eight batters for the win.
