No. 12 College of Idaho Takes Two from Warner Pacific

PORTLAND, Oregon - The No. 12 College of Idaho swept Warner Pacific, 11-4 and 15-3 in a doubleheader to extend its winning streak to 11 on Saturday.
The Yotes (26-2, 12-2 CCC) pounded out double-digit runs for the ninth and tenth time on the season, respectively. In game one, College of Idaho scored 11 runs on nine hits and in the nightcap, the Yotes had 15 runs on 16 hits to complete its tenth doubleheader sweep of the season.
Game 1
College of Idaho plated three each in the first and fifth and scored five in the third on its way to a 11-4 win. Nine-different Yotes had a hit in the win and leadoff batter Haley Loffer drove in a pair in the win. Hattie Hruza, Brinley Iverson and Loffer each scored twice in the win. Hannah McNerney went the distance to raise her record to 12-1, allowing three hits and striking out seven for C of I.
Game 2
After a four-run first inning, College of Idaho came back with 11 runs in the second to take a 15-2 lead on the host Knights. Kaylee MacDannald and Hattie Hruza each had three hits, plus Haley Loffer and Lena Zahniser added two in the win. Hruza had three RBI and Brinley Iverson, Loffer and Zahniser provided two RBI. Warner Pacific scored twice in the bottom of the first and plated another run in the bottom of the fifth.
College of Idaho starting pitcher Katelyn Wilfert allowed just two hits and struck out eight in the win to raise her record to 12-1. 
Next, College of Idaho will look for the series sweep with a doubleheader on Sunday at 11 a.m. (PST)/noon (MT). The first game of the doubleheader is Cascade Collegiate Conference play, whereas the second game is a non-conference matchup.
