Hot Shooting No. 1 College of Idaho Defeats Warner Pacific, 88-42

PORTLAND, Ore. –Tyler Robinett scored a career-high 22 points and sharpshooter Johnny Radford hit five 3-pointers on his way to 19 points to lead No. 1 College of Idaho to its 21st-straight win an 88-42 win over Warner Pacific on Friday night. Jake O'Neil added his second-straight double double with 10 points and 11 rebounds in the win.
 
The Yotes (21-1, 16-0 CCC) shot 56.1% (37-for-65) from the field and held the host Knights to 26.2% (17-for-64). College of Idaho quickly erased an early 7-6 deficit when Robinett hit his first of four 3-pointers to put the visitors ahead for the rest of the contest.
 
The Knights (14-8, 11-6 CCC) spread the scoring among 10 different players in the contest. Warner Pacific was paced by a seven-point, seven rebounds effort by Caleb-Tyree Morgan.
 
The sophomore from Middleton scored the first seven points for College of Idaho on his way to 16 first half points as the Yotes built a 22-point lead, 40-18, at the break. A stifling defense held Warner Pacific to 21.2% (7-for-33) shooting as the Yotes shot 50% (16-for-32). College of Idaho managed to stretch the lead to as large as 48 in the second half. In the second 20 minutes, the Yotes shot at a season-best 61.8% (21-for-34) clip.
 
The 21-game winning streak is the second longest in program history with the longest being 24 games that goes back to the 2019-20 season. The Yotes are the fourth team in CCC history to win at least 20-straight games. 
 
Next, College of Idaho will look to win its ninth win away from home on the season for the fourth time in the last five years as they take on Multnomah at 5 p.m. (PST)/6 p.m. (MT).
