2022-23 Women's Basketball Notebook (CCC Quarterfinals)

QUEEN OF THE BOARDS: Senior Lexi Mitchell became the progam's all-time leader in rebounds with 765 earlier this season. She eclipsed the previous mark of 717 held by Christon Vander Esch (2006-09). Mitchell is third in the CCC in rebounds with 247 (8.8 rpg). She leads the conference in offensive rebounds with 91 (3.3 rpg).

DOUBLE DOUBLE: Lexi Mitchell has posted eight double double performances in 2022-23 and Sienna Riggle has posted six.  Heading into this week's action, Mitchell has recorded 17 career double double performances; most recently vs. Evergreen (2/18/23) and Riggle has posted 13 with her last double double coming at Warner Pacific (2/3/23).  Both had a double double against Warner Pacific and in the earlier meeting with the Knights on December 17.

FINISHING STRONG: Lexi Mitchell has scored in double figures in 10 of the last 11 games; Riley Frith has hit a 3-pointer in seven of the last nine contests; Kenadee French has made a 3-pointer in nine of the last 10 games; the tandem of Mitchell and Riggle are the lone two Yotes to get a starting nod in all 28 games as we head into the quarterfinals.

SHOOTING IT FROM THREE: Senior Kenadee French heads into the contest with  822-pointers which ranks 14th all-time in program history.

DOWNTOWN MIA: Freshman Mia Austin has made a 3-pointer in 19 of her 26 games of her young career. On nine occasions, Austin has made at least four 3-pointers in a game, most recently against Multnomah (Feb. 4) she made a season-high six. For the season, Austin has made 43.2% (57 of 132) of her 3-point attempts which ranks second in the Cascade Collegiate Conference.

ON THE BOARDS: Seven times in the last nine games, College of Idaho has grabbed double-digit offensive rebounds. The Yotes started the season with six in a row. College of Idaho has outrebounded nine of its last 11 opponents.

GAME HIGHS BY GRAHAM AGAINST NORTHWEST: Against Northwest, last Friday (Feb. 17), Bryanna Graham scored a season-high 17 points in a season-high 29 minutes of against. She also set season-high marks with 11 3-point field goal attempts and four steals.

ACADEMIC SUCCESS: Kenadee French, Lexi Mitchell, Sienna Riggle and Taryn Riley have been nominated for College Sports Communicators Academic All-District for their efforts on the court and in the classroom. Petra Lumpert in 2017 was the last Yote to earn Academic All-District honors and is just one of two Academic All-Americans in program history.
