FIRST-TIME STARTERS: When the starting lineups were introduced at NNU, it marked the 51st career start for
Jada Reed, whereas it was the first career start for
Darbi Avery,
Bryanna Graham,
McKenzie Hirsch, and Kyle Waltermeyer. Reed is just one of 38 players in program history to start 51 games.Â
VARIETY: In the contest against Rocky Mountain, the Yotes had 10 players break into the scoring ledger with a team-best 13-point effort from
Bryanna Graham. In her brief career, she has scored in double figures on six occasions. For Graham, it was her third time that she was the top scorer for College of Idaho.
FLIRTING WITH PERFECTION: College of Idaho made 17 of 18 (94.4%) of its free-throw attempts to start the season against Montana Western. The 94.4% clip ties the third-best effort in program history with a similar effort last season against Eastern Oregon. Ironically, seven of the top nine performances have been away from the friendly rims of the J.A. Albertson Activity Center.Â
THEFT: Against Rocky Mountain, College of Idaho recorded 10 steals. On eight occasions in 2022-23, the Yotes had games with 10 or more steals in a contest.
MAMA MIA: With four 3-pointers, it was the second-straight game that sophomore
Mia Austin had made at least three pointers. She closed out the 2022-23 season wtih back-to-back games with at least three 3-pointers and finished the season with eight games where she made at least three 3-pointers.
THANKSGIVING TALK: College of Idaho handed out 14 assists in the home opener against The Master's. The Yotes closed out the 2022-23 season with four-straight games of at least 10 assists. In 22 of 29 games, last year, the Yotes had 10 or more assists

HAIL TO THE CHIEF: Senior forward
Emma Anderson, in addition to her basketball responsibilities serves as the ASCI (Associated Students of The College of Idaho) President. Her Vice President is Yotes football quarterback Andy Peters.
NEW HEAD COACH: Kyle Erickson, a 2012 graduate of Montana Western took the reigns of the College of Idaho women's basketball coach on April 3, 2023. He is the sixth head coach in the 29-year history of the program. For 13 of the 29 years at the helm is current C of I Vice President for Athletics, Reagan Rossi, who led College of Idaho to a 246-153 mark in 13 years as the head coach.
PRESEASON POLL: On Wednesday, October 18, in a vote of the head coaches in the Cascade Collegiate Conference, the Yotes were picked to finish seventh. Eastern Oregon grabbed five first-place votes, earning the top spot with 136 total points. Lewis-Clark State College followed, collecting six first-place votes to sit just one point behind in second place. Southern Oregon University was third after they picked up one first-place vote and 123 points on the preseason poll. Oregon Tech (99 points) and Bushnell University (96 points) round out the top-five teams on the preseason poll, sitting in fourth and fifth, respectively. Just ahead of the Yotes was Corban University, who followed with 80 points to sit in sixth.
VARIETY PACK: In the first four games,
Brooke Beresford is the only player to lead the Yotes in rebounding twice and
Mia Austin has been putting it together back-to-back top scoring efforts. For her career, Austin has been the top scorer on five occasions.
BOARD WORK: Â Four-different Yotes are averaged 3.5 or more rebounds a game with
Brooke Beresford being the leader with 4.5 rebounds a game.
