CONFERENCE PLAY: The Cascade Collegiate Conference began play with the 1993-94 season with the Yotes joining the conference in 1995-96. College of Idaho, formerly known as Albertson College, won a league title in 2000-01 with a 14-2 mark and another in 2009-10 with a 14-4 effort. Taryn Riley has scored in double figures in the last four games, including a career-high 25 against Walla Walla. Last weekend, against Evergreen and Northwest, she handed out six assists in each game to raise her season average to 2.7 assists per game.

Mia Austin scored in double figures (14 pts. vs. Evergreen; 15 pts. vs. Northwest) in back-to-back games, last weekend. In the two games, Austin made 9 of 13 (69.2%) 3-pointers to break out of a 2-for-13 (15.4%) slump in the previous two games.
REALLY REALLY RILEY: Senior
Riley Frith has scored 36 (12.0 ppg) points and grabbed 12 (4.0 rpg) in the last three games. Frith scored a season-high 14 in back to back games against Lewis-Clark State (12/31/22) and Evergreen (1/6/23).
WALLOP OF WALLA WALLA: The 45-point win, 79-34, over Walla Walla is the largest margin of victory over an opponent since a 55-point victory over Bethesda (11/13/21) and the most over a conference opponent since a 58-point victory over the Wolves on December 29, 2018.
JADA CLAUS: Junior guard
Jada Reed handed out a school record 12 assists in the win 79-34 win over Walla Walla. Reed matched the mark of 12 assists that is shared by former College of Idaho standouts, Petra Lumpert (12/31/16 at Northwest) and Mackenzie Royce (1/26/19 vs. Yellowstone Christian). The combined men's and women's basketball single-game assist record is held by men's assistant coach Emanuel Morgan, who handed out 17 assists against Walla Walla on Feb. 18, 2017.
ONE-TWO PUNCH: The tandem of
Lexi Mitchell and
Sienna Riggle have been key contributors to the success of the Yotes women's basketball program. Heading into this week's action, Mitchell has recorded 12 career double double performances; most recently against Warner Pacific (12/17/22) and Riggle has posted 11 with her last double double coming against Evergreen (1/6/23).
GETTING TO THE FOUL LINE: College of Idaho has shot 280 free-throw attempts compared to just 195 for its opponents. The 280 free throw attempts is second (first: Oregon Tech - 294) in the CCC. The Yotes went to the line for a season-high 38 attempts against Willamette. The 38 attempts are the most since a 43 attempt effort against Warner Pacific on Feb. 9, 2019.
