CALDWELL, Idaho - The College of Idaho women's soccer team continues their hot stretch, winning six of their first seven games as they take down Multnomah by a score of 6-0.
Larissa Wegner got the scoring started in Saturday's game, scoring off an assist by
Kaitlyn Ramon in the 15th minute. Wegner would finish the game with two goals as she would score in the 74th minute.
McKenna Harris continues to play well to start her season, scoring her second goal of the season.
Kaitlynn Mallett got her first goal of the season in the 67th minute off an assist by
Cheyanne Rede.
Lily Schlake scored once again for the Yotes, tallying a goal in the 74th minute.
Lucy Evans rounded out the scoring for the Yotes, netting a beutiful goal into the top left corner from well outside the box.
"Very pleased to get goals by multiple players and post another shutout in tough weather conditions," said head coach
Brian Smith. "A very mature effort from the group and amazing to see every players impact over the weekend. Couldn't be more pleased with the opening weekend of conference play."
Next up, the Yotes travel to Eugene to take on Bushnell on September 23.
