SALEM, Ore. – No. 2 The College of Idaho picked up a pair of wins in a doubleheader, 10-2 in five innings and 9-0 in six innings over Corban to extend its winning streak to 15 games on Saturday.
C of I (16-2, 5-0 CCC) had 15 hits – seven of which were for extra bases – in the doubleheader sweep. Starting pitchers

Katelyn Wilfert struck out 11 and allowed two earned runs in the 11 innings of work.
Game 1
C of I plated four runs each in the first and fifth inning to go along with a two-run third inning en route to the 10-2 win over the Warriors.
Leadoff batter
Haley Loffer went 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, a run scored and a RBI to lead C of I. Plus for C of I,
Lexi Navarrete and
Kaily Christensen each had two RBI and
Tanner Higgins scored three runs.
The Coyotes got things started with a pair of two-run home runs by
Kaily Christensen and
Hattie Hruza in the top of the first for the early lead. Then, C of I added to its lead on back-to-back RBI doubles by MacDannald and Navarrete for a 4-0 advantage in the third inning.
Corban broke up the shutout bid with a two-run home run in the bottom of the fourth as C of I came back with a four-run fifth inning on just one hit en route to the win. The one hit was a RBI single by Loffler.

Hannah McNerney went the distance to raise her record to 6-1, allowing just two hits and striking out five in the circle.
Game 2
With a 3-0 lead, C of I plated six runs on three hits in the sixth inning en route to a 9-0 win in the nightcap.
Kylie Smith had two hits and
Haley Loffer,
Kaily Christensen and
Hattie Hruza each had two RBI to lead the Coyotes. Christensen and Hruza each had a two RBI hit in the sixth to break the contest open. Plus,
Lexi Navarrete tied a school single-game record with four walks, matching the four walks that Destiny Turner picked up on Feb. 12, 2015 against Hope International.
The nightcap saw Loffer put C of I on the scoreboard with a two-RBI triple in the second inning for the early lead. The Coyotes added to its lead when
Hallie Holland brought in Navarrete on a RBI single in the fourth.

Katelyn Wilfert struck out five en route to the win. She has now pitched 20 scoreless innings over her last four appearances.
The two teams will wrap up the weekend series with a doubleheader on Sunday at 10 a.m. at Wilsonville High School in nearby Wilsonville.
