Coyotes Blast Lewis-Clark State on the Road, 82-48

LEWISTON, Idaho – Five College of Idaho players scored in double-figures, as the Coyotes held in-state rival Lewis-Clark State to 24-percent shooting from the field in an 82-48 victory over the Warriors inside the P1FCU Activity Center.

The win for the No. 10-ranked Coyotes (21-4, 15-2 CCC) was their largest victory margin ever in the LC Valley and their largest victory margin over the Warriors since a 94-51 win in Caldwell in 1985.

LCSC (15-9, 8-8) scored the first four points of the game, but Drew Wyman canned a pair of 3's in a 10-0 run that gave the visitors the lead.

C of I led 18-12 with just under 10 minutes left in the first half – with the Coyote defense clamping down – forcing 19-straight missed field goal attempts over a 13-minute period. Johnny Radford scored eight points and Tyler Robinett scored seven in a 29-2 run spanning the two halves, as the Yotes lead ballooned to 47-14.

The visitors extended the margin to as many as 40 points on the night.

Radford paced C of I with 18 points, adding seven steals – the most by a C of I player this season and the first Yote to log seven steals since Talon Pinckney in 2019-20 against Oregon Tech.

Jake O'Neil finished with 12 points and a career-high 16 rebounds – the most by a Coyote since Matt Meyers grabbed 17 boards at Warner Pacific in 2018.

Wyman, Robinett and Ricardo Time all scored 11, as the Yotes combined to make 10 3-pointers in the victory.

LCSC finished the night 14-of-58 from the field – as Silas Bennion led the Warriors with 10 points.

C of I closes out the road trip tomorrow night with a 9 p.m. (PT) match-up at Walla Walla.
