Box Score SPRINGFIELD, Ore. - The College of Idaho men's soccer program saw their season draw to a close Tuesday night, dropping the opening round of the CCC Championships, presented by U.S. Bank, to Southern Oregon by a score of 2-1.
SOU's Alan Gayton scored the first goal of the game as the Raiders jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 13th minute of action. Senior
Caio Pereira capped off his career scoring the Yotes lone goal of the game in the first half off an assist by
Tom Baynard-Smith just two minutes later, as the game would be tied heading into the break.
The Raiders' Sam Walker tallied SOU's second goal of the contest in the 73rd minute as the Raiders would take the lead and turn it into the final score.
The Yotes season ends with a record of 11-5-2.
