KANSAS CITY, Missouri – The College of Idaho men's cross country team had five members named to the 2022 Daktronics NAIA Men's Cross Country Scholar-Athlete Team on Thursday. The Yotes, who were ranked No. 10 in the final 2022 NAIA Men's Cross Country Coaches Top 25 Poll, will compete on Friday at the 2022 NAIA Cross Country Championships in Tallahassee, Florida.
The five Yotes selected were
Braden Heath,
Connor Vrooman,
Daniel Butler,
Elias Everist and
Will Kracaw. In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
