HELENA, Mont. - The No. 22 College of Idaho women's soccer team continues their roll as of late, taking down Carroll in the final road game of the year, 1-0.
Lizzy Gonzalez was the lone scorer in Friday's contest, netting a goal in the first half to give the Yotes a 1-0 lead going into the half, which would hold to be the final score.
Gianna Yslava led the team with 10 total shots on goal.
Hannah McFadden tallied another stellar performance in goal, recording her 10th shutout of the season, recording four saves in the victory. McFadden's shutout is also a school record for shutouts in a season.
"Tremendous output today," said head coach
Brian Smith. "Back to back road trips are incredibly challenging. So great for Lizzy to get the game winner. She has really been training and playing well. I also have to give big credit to our back line for recording another shutout. Tremendous team performance today."
