KIRKLAND, Washington – Host Northwest University managed to hit at .333 compared to .170 for the visiting College of Idaho volleyball team in a 25-21, 25-21, 25-14 win on Saturday evening.
The Eagles (8-10, 4-6 CCC) were paced by an 11-kill effort from Abi Broussard, who hit .400 in the win. Kaitlyn Mickle added eight kills on her way to a .538 hitting percentage. Anna Saelens added 16 assists, plus Morgan Harter had nine assists and nine digs for the winning efforts.
The Yotes (5-12, 4-6 CCC) was led by
Sydnee Steel, who had a team-best 14 assists, nine kills and seven digs in the loss.
Janae Rayborn added seven kills and six digs and
Analise Hitchcock had 13 assists and two service aces in the loss.
Next, College of Idaho will return home for a five-match homestand that gets underway with a contest against Corban on Friday, October 7 at 7 p.m.
