POCATELLO, Idaho – Stepping up against their first of two weekend NCAA Division I opponents, The College of Idaho women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to Idaho State at Reed Gym.
The Yotes (0-3) won at least one game in all three doubles matches and took two games at both the No. 1 and No. 2 singles spots.
Taylor Johnson made her season debut – teaming with
Sara Altfas at No. 1 doubles to drop a 6-1 decision to Hristina Cvetkovic and Hana Cho, while falling 6-1, 6-1 to Cvetkovic at No. 1 singles.
Lauren Kreutzer and
Leiana Almaraz dropped a 6-2 match at No. 2 doubles to Angela Walker and Megan Lang-Gold, with Kreutzer falling 6-2, 6-0 at No. 2 singles to Cho.
C of I returns to action tomorrow morning, meeting Dixie State.
