LEWISTON, Idaho – Lewis-Clark State completed a weekend sweep of The College of Idaho, defeating the Coyotes, 25-18, 25-20, 25-18, inside the LCSC Activity Center.
Chloe Emery posted 11 kills on 24 swings without an error, as the Warriors (7-5, 7-5 CCC) kept their postseason hopes alive.
The Yotes (4-10, 4-8) were led by seven kills from
Cameron Wallace, with
Jade Warren adding five kills and a team-high four blocks.
LCSC jumped out to a 10-2 lead in winning Set 1, while the Warriors broke a 19-19 tie in Set 2 by scoring six of the final seven points of the set. C of I pulled within 20-18 in Set 3, but the hosts closed the match on a 5-0 run.
C of I closes out the regular-season next weekend, hosting Corban in Friday and Saturday matches.
