WALLA WALLA, Wash. – The most dominating performance in program history netted The College of Idaho men's cross country team a perfect team score, as the Yotes won their fourth-straight meet of the season, winning the Walla Walla Invitational at Fort Walla Walla.
Coyote runners grabbed the first 10 finishing spots – led by freshman
Logan Hunt – as C of I earned a perfect team score of 15 points, well ahead of Multnomah and Walla Walla.
Hunt was in a tight pack at the front, as the first four scoring Yotes were separated by just 24 seconds, winning the race in a time of 26:23.80.
Braden Heath placed second (26:36), with
Ian Jackson in third (26:38).
Brennan Donahue took fourth overall (26:47) with
Sean Wagnon (27:01) recording his best finish ever to close the Coyote scorers.
C of I will take next weekend off in preparation for the Cascade Conference Championships, hosted by Lewis-Clark State, on March 26.
