KANSAS CITY, Mo. – College of Idaho's
Nick Calzaretta and
Dylan Martinez were named honorable mention selections to the AFCA NAIA Coaches' All-America Team, announced today by the national office.
Calzaretta, a fifth-year senior from Larkspur, Calif., led the Frontier Conference with 978 rushing yards and 14 rushing touchdowns on the season. The running back finished his career a 3-time All-Frontier Conference selection, ranking No. 1 in C of I and No. 10 in conference history with 3,525 rushing yards.
Martinez, a junior from Meridian, had a banner season from his linebacker position, ranking second in the league with 109 total tackles, including 10 tackles for loss.
The duo, along with other Coyote players, are under consideration for the Associated Press NAIA All-America Team, which will be released later this week.
