CALDWELL, Idaho –
Sydnee Steel posted career-highs with 18 digs and six aces, as The College of Idaho opened a 4-match homestand with a 25-21, 25-10, 24-26, 25-16 win over Multnomah.
The Coyotes (11-14, 8-9 CCC) used a 51-29 edge in kills and finished the match with 11 aces to complete the season sweep of the Lions.
Steel had four consecutive aces in an 8-point Set 2 run, leading the hosts to the lopsided win.
MU (4-14, 3-14) battled back in Set 3, erasing an 11-5 lead – scoring 7-straight points and getting six Kamaile Labanon kills in the period – including the final three points to extend the match.

Danielle Neuman kills set the tone.
Emily Vandenberg led the Coyotes with 11 kills, with Neuman posting eight kills and three blocks.
Sidney Frith had 44 assists and nine digs as 17 different C of I players saw court time.
Danae Stokes led the Lions with 10 kills and Labanon added nine kills and four aces – but MU hit at a negative percentage as C of I forced 32 hitting errors.
The Yotes return to action tomorrow night, hosting Warner Pacific at 7 p.m.
