ABOUT SOUTHERN OREGON: The Raiders bring a four-game win streak into the contest on Friday and are tied for third in the standings with Oregon Tech. SOU has done an impressive job of limiting goals for opponents, yielding just five on the season so far, including just one in the second half of games where they have outscored the opposition 8-1. Jessie Selby (0.39 GAA) and Ashlynn Hernandez (0.49 GAA) have split time in the net, with each having positive results. On the attack, Sarah Mauk (4 goals, 2 assists) is the leading scorer for the Raiders while Mia Santander (3 goals, 1 assist) has made a quality impact as well.

ABOUT OREGON TECH: Similar to SOU, the Owls have been challenging to score against this year, allowing just four goals across 10 games, the lowest total in the conference. Alyx Burkhartzmeyer (0.39 GAA) has served as the primary keeper, facing 26 shots and making 18 saves. Mehana Ortiz (6 goals, 3 assists) has been the go-to option offensively for OIT, with Nyah Kendall (2 goals, 3 assists) one of five players in addition to Ortiz that have scored two goals.

PIVOTAL CONFERENCE WEEKEND: This Friday and Saturday will mark a key stretch in the chase for a Cascade Conference title, as current frontrunners College of Idaho and Eastern Oregon take on the duo of Oregon Tech and Southern Oregon that is currently just three points behind in the standings with 15 points each. The Yotes and Mountaineers have each won six contests to reach 18 points, with C of I holding the head-to-head tiebreaker over EOU.

WHAT A RUN: By winning eight straight games from Sept. 10-Oct. 8, the Yotes matched the longest winning streak in program history with the 2009 team.
BACK HOME AGAIN: Including a 3-0 record on the home pitch so far this season, the Yotes have went 19-3-4 over their last 26 games at Simplot Stadium. C of I has went 8-1-1 at home over the past two seasons.

INTO THE STRETCH RUN: Just five games across three weeks remain in CCC play for the Yotes, who are looking to position themselves well for the CCC Championships on Nov. 9-12 in Springfield, Ore. Hosted by Bushnell University, the top eight teams in the final conference standings will earn a spot into the tournament field.

BY THE NUMBERS: C of I has outscored opponents 17-4 in the second half or overtime of games this season, including outshooting the opposition 111-49 during that same time frame. The Yotes have earned 50 corners this season while allowing 31. In addition, the goalkeeper duo of
Shae Waters and
Hannah McFadden has combined to work six shutouts, with the school-record for a single-season standing at 11. For individual stats,
Lily Schlake leads the squad with seven goals and
Payton Anderson tops the team with three assists.

GLASCOCK CAREER RANKINGS: With 12 assists for her career, senior
Madison Glascock has moved into 10th all-time in C of I program history. Glascock has also netted 11 career goals to move her into the program top-20 in that category as well.

RANKINGS UPDATE: In the rankings for the Cascade Conference that were turned in by chief rater David Thorvilson (Carroll) and assistant raters Jennifer Rosenberg (Southern Oregon) and Jacob Plocher (Eastern Oregon) for the CCC this week, C of I was ranked second behind Eastern Oregon. The Yotes are ahead of third-ranked OIT while Southern Oregon is fourth. These ratings determine how the teams within the conference must be voted on in the NAIA Top-25 Coach Poll.
