Carter Vieira doubled home a run and a third scored on a Warriors (5-12, 1-1) error.
The visitors added to their lead with single runs in each of the middle innings – getting a fourth inning
Jonah Hultberg RBI single, a fifth inning
Tanner McGrath RBI double and tallying a run in the sixth on a wild pitch.
Dudley went 3-for-3, with both
Jake Denison and McGrath going 2-for-5 for the Yotes.
C of I erased a 2-1 deficit in Game 1 with a 3-run fifth inning – with a Vieira RBI single giving the Coyotes the lead. Corban tied the game in the fifth, before batting around in the seventh inning – with a Zack Simon 2-run single the big blow.
Jacob Asa tossed 3.2 innings of scoreless relief to earn the win for Corban – with Justin Tow driving in three runs. Hultberg went 2-for-5 with an RBI in the loss for C of I.
The two teams close out the 4-game series tomorrow with an 11 a.m. (PT) doubleheader.
