CLIMBING THE CAREER LEADERBOARD: With 45 assists so far this season, Mackenzie Royce-Radford has moved into 16th on the C of I career assists leaderboard with 181. Royce-Radford is also currently sixth in assists per game average (minimum of 25 games) with four assists per contest and 11th in minutes per game average (30.5). Her 68 percent free throw percentage is good for 25th on the career list (minimum of 75 made) and her 38 percent mark on 3-pointers is tied for second (minimum of 50 made). Sophia Jackson is 30th on the all-time list for 3-pointers made with 47 for her career and Royce-Radford is tied for 20th with 59 triples.
 
LEADING THE CONFERENCE: The Yotes have taken advantage of their opportunities at the free throw line to this point in the season, hitting on 73 percent of attempts (185-253). Oregon Tech (72 percent) and Warner Pacific (72 percent) are the only other CCC teams that have knocked down their charity attempts at a 70 percent or higher clip. Three different players are shooting 80 percent or better at the line for the Yotes, led by Kiersten Rasmussen at 85 percent.
 
DOUBLE-DOUBLE TIME: The 15 points and 10 rebounds for Emily Harwood in the 78-70 win over Northwest Christian last week marked the first double-double of the season for the Yotes and the second of her career.
 
FRENCH ON FIRE: After scoring 14 points in her first six appearances of the season, freshman Kenadee French took full advantage of increased playing time against Corban last week, pouring in a career-high 19 points in 25 minutes of action and connecting on five 3-pointers. No C of I player has hit more than five triples in a game since Kiara Skinner hit six in 2017. French is 8-of-15 from beyond the arc and is averaging 4.7 points per game.
 
TOUGH ROAD TRIP: C of I has swept road the road trip against the Washington schools just one time in the last six years, coming during the 2016-17 campaign. The Yotes have come away with a split three times and been swept once.

OPPONENT PREVIEW - NORTHWEST: The Eagles enter the weekend having lost six of their last seven games, but are always dangerous at home, where the team is 3-3 so far this season. Northwest is ranked 23rd in NAIA Division II with 14.7 offensive rebounds per game. The leading scorer for the squad is Sam Van Loo (12.4 ppg, 7.3 rpg), who is shooting 54 percent from the floor. Maya DuChesne (9.8 ppg, 3.9 rpg) is a threat from deep, hitting on 42 percent of her 3-point tries this season. Lexi Biggerstaff (7.8 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 2.9 apg) leads the team in assists.  

OPPONENT PREVIEW - EVERGREEN: The Geoducks are coming off a big win over Northwest on Tuesday, defeating the Eagles for the first time since 2018 by a score of 88-77 in overtime. Trinity Betoney (22.2 ppg, 9 rpg, 2.6 apg, 4.4 spg) is the leading scorer in the conference and is joined by Jerri Maluyo (11.7 ppg, 5.9 apg, 3 rpg, 2.8 spg) to form a strong backcourt tandem. Betoney broke the Evergreen record with 38 points on Tuesday against Northwest. Anna Cook (9.6 ppg, 5.6 rpg) and Merrily Jones (9.4 ppg, 5.6 rpg) are some of the other pieces to watch for Evergreen.

BLOCK PARTY: Forward Kiersten Rasmussen has 11 blocks on the season and has moved into 10th on the C of I all-time career record book with 48 for her career. The junior from Soda Springs is also averaging 5.7 points and 2.1 rebounds per game this year.

SETTING A MARK FOR KRUSEMARK: The 15 points and five rebounds for Kaylee Krusemark against Northwest Christian each set new season-highs for the sophomore guard, who has contributed double-digit point production on four occasions.

DEEP ROTATION: A total of 12 players have averaged 10 or more minutes per game this season for the Yotes, with Mackenzie Royce-Radford (28.6 mpg) and Tayla Sayer (24.1 mpg) the only players averaging more than 20 minutes per contest. C of I has started 11 different players this year and relied on key bench contributions in multiple games.

70 POINTS EQUALS SUCCESS: When the Yotes have scored 70 or more points in a game this season, the team has gone 4-0, with wins at Linfield (70-66) and against Warner Pacific (76-70), Multnomah (81-47) and Northwest Christian (78-70). 

NEXT UP: C of I returns to the J.A. Albertson Activities Center for five consecutive home games, starting with a rivalry affair against Eastern Oregon next Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. Next weekend the Yotes play host to Walla Walla on Saturday and Sunday.

AROUND THE CASCADE CONFERENCE: After Northwest Christian and Oregon Tech were dealt losses last week there are no remaining unbeatens in the CCC. The balance in the league has led to seven teams posting CCC records of .500 or better so far, with Corban (6-1), Oregon Tech (5-1) and Northwest Christian (4-1) jumping out in front in the early standings. The Warriors and Beacons host Multnomah and Warner Pacific this week, while Oregon Tech does not play until next Tuesday at Southern Oregon.

CONFERENCE LEADERBOARD WATCH: Senior Mackenzie Royce-Radford is among the leaders in the conference in three different categories, including sixth in scoring average (13.2 ppg), sixth in assists (3 apg) and third in 3-point percentage (41 percent). Royce-Radford has posted a double-digit scoring output in 13 of the 15 games this season, including seven straight, and led or shared the lead for the team in scoring nine times.

TOUGH SCHEDULE: Five of the first six conference games for the Yotes have been played against teams with a .500 or better mark in CCC play, including the top-5 teams in the current standings.
