WHEN LEADING AT THE HALF: The Yotes have led at the half in eight games this season. C of I holds a record of 5-3 in those games.
Â
YOTE PACK SHOWING SUPPORT: Of the 11 women's basketball programs in the Cascade Conference, head coach
Janis Beal's team has been the biggest draw so far this year, bringing in an average of 778 fans per game. Oregon Tech is in second with an average of 598 and Southern Oregon has averaged 501 fans. C of I is looking to win the CCC attendance crown for the second consecutive season and is ahead of 165 Division I schools, including USC, Washington State, Hawaii, Georgetown and Weber State. The attendance inside the J.A. Albertson Activities Center this winter has been higher than 283 of 312 Division II schools.
Â
CONFERENCE STANDINGS TIGHT: The Yotes currently sit in seventh in the CCC standings with seven games to go. Including C of I, four teams are within two games of each other in the four through seven spots in the standings, including Southern Oregon, Warner Pacific and Oregon Tech. Eight teams make the CCC Championships, with the top four seeds hosting a quarterfinal on Feb. 25. There is a three win cushion currently between the No. 7 spot in the standings and Northwest - which is 4-7 in the conference - at No. 8. The Yotes went 4-3 the first time around against the seven remaining opponents on the regular season schedule.
Â
OPPONENT PREVIEW - MULTNOMAH: The Lions are coming off of their first conference win of the season last week when they defeated Walla Walla 75-68 at home. Multnomah is in the midst of seven consecutive home games. Erykah Campbell (11.4 ppg, 11.2 rpg, 3.4 bpg) is an imposing presence on the inside, with Alaygza Portis (10.8 ppg, 3.9 rpg) serving as the other player to average a double-digit scoring total. Campbell's blocks per game average is the best mark in the nation. C of I won 81-47 earlier this season in Caldwell after jumping out to a 30-6 advantage after a quarter of play.
OPPONENT PREVIEW - WARNER PACIFIC: Matt Gregg's team has won two in a row and three of their last four games. Four players are averaging 10 or more points per game for the Knights, led by Courtney Jackson (14.3 ppg, 4.6 rpg) and Gabriella Bruno (14 ppg, 4.6 rpg). Warner Pacific is statistically the best 3-point shooting team in the conference, hitting on 33 percent of their attempts. C of I won 76-70 in overtime on Dec. 6 in Caldwell.
LEADING THE CONFERENCE: The Yotes have taken advantage of their opportunities at the free throw line to this point in the season, hitting on 74 percent of attempts (273-371). Oregon Tech (73 percent) and Warner Pacific (72 percent) are the only other CCC teams that have knocked down their charity attempts at a 70 percent or higher clip. Nine different players are shooting 70 percent or better at the line for the Yotes, led by
Sophia Jackson at 82 percent.
YOTES ENJOYING HOME COOKING: C of I is now 6-3 in the CCC at home after the split last weekend against OIT and Southern Oregon and 7-6 in the J.A. Albertson Activities Center for the season. The Yotes have finished with a .500 or better record at home in 22 of the past 24 seasons, including a 6-5 mark last year.

SIZZLING FROM OUTSIDE: Everything was falling from the perimeter in the win against OIT last Saturday, with the Yotes hitting on 6-of-9 (67 percent) of their 3-pointers.
