WIN STREAK REACHES EIGHT: The Yotes ran their win streak to 8-games with a 4-game sweep at Northwest on Friday and Saturday. It marks the second 8-game win streak of the 2019 season and the ninth in program history, with. It is the longest win streak since the 2013 season, when the team won 10 in a row, with the 2012 squad holding the school record with a 12-game win streak.
 
BEST START IN PROGRAM HISTORY: The Yotes continued their best start to a season, with the series sweep at Northwest pushing their overall record to 26-6 (previous best 6-loss record was 20-6 in 2012. C of I recorded their two previous best 32-game starts in 2007 (24-8) and 2012 (23-9). The Yotes have secured their tenth all-time 20-win season (and have surpassed their win total from each of the past two seasons), with four previous teams recording 30-win seasons (the last in 2014).
