BOISE, Idaho – College of Idaho stepped up against a pair of NCAA Division I programs this weekend, dropping 7-0 decisions to Boise State and Eastern Washington inside the Boas Tennis Center.
The No. 3 doubles team of
Leiana Almaraz and
Taylor Little picked up game wins against both BSU and EWU, dropping both matches 6-1.
In singles play, three athletes earned multiple game wins –
Alex Sorte dropping a 6-2, 6-0 decision against BSU at No. 1; with Almaraz at No. 2 and
Natalie Little at No. 4 losing 6-1, 6-1 against EWU.
The Yotes (0-6) will spend Spring Break in Hawaii – playing a pair of matches against Division II Chaminade and a match vs. Division III Mills College.
