REVOLVING DOOR OF A SCHEDULE: A whirlwind of activity during the previous week has changed the C of I softball schedule multiple times – ending with a non-conference doubleheader against Division II Northwest Nazarene. The Yotes were scheduled to open the Cascade Conference season in Great Falls against the University of Providence – however, a foot of snow and temperatures sub-zero temperatures forced the CCC to move the series to Caldwell. However, extreme road conditions in Montana have not improved over the course of the last 72 hours, prompting the Argos to not risk the 600-mile trek through the snow and ice to the Treasure Valley. NNU became a viable option as the Nighthawks were to have opened Great Northwest Athletic Conference play at Simon Fraser in Canada – but a snowstorm blanketed their diamond at Softball City, forcing the postponement and creating the open date.
