BILLINGS, Mont. - Nolan Sherwood recorded a hat trick, as Rocky Mountain cruised to an 8-0 victory over the College of Idaho at Wendy's Field.
The Battlin' Bears (9-3, 8-1 CCC) scored four goals in each half - with 10 of their 13 shots on the day on frame.
RMC got on the board in the seventh minute, as Pablo Ferreira slotted home a Sam Davidson cross, with Sherwood scoring goals in the 17th and 32nd minutes to extend the lead. Rocky added three goals in an eight minute second half window, including the third goal of the day by Sherwood.
The hosts held a 13-8 edge in shots, with both teams recording seven corner kicks.
The Coyotes (6-6, 4-5) close out the regular-season with four home matches - beginning Friday vs. Evergreen.
