SALEM, Ore. – College of Idaho saw their four-match win streak snapped, as the Lady Yotes were toppled by a hungry Corban University squad in four sets inside C.E. Jeffers Center.
The defending Cascade Conference champion Warriors (9-5, 5-1 CCC) earned the 26-24, 25-15, 16-25, 25-14 win in a match that featured a combined 50 hitting errors and 18 blocks.
The Yotes (10-5, 5-2) battled back from a 20-18 deficit in Set 1 to earn set point at 24-22 – but were unable to put a ball away, thanks to opportune digs by the Corban back row. Kills by Cassie Cunningham and Avari Ridgway were followed by a stuff block by Ridgway to make it 25-24, while following a lengthy rally, Adriana Aguayo closed the period with a kill.

The hosts broke away in Set 4 early, using a 9-1 run to erase a 3-2 Coyote lead, getting three Tori Edwards kills and taking advantage of five C of I errors in the surge.
Ridgway had 16 kills and Edwards had nine for Corban – who remain unbeaten at home this season.
Taylor Alexander had a team-high 10 kills and 17 digs for the Yotes, with
