KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A total of 18 College of Idaho fall sports competitors were honored as Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes, announced today by the national office.
The NAIA released the list of student-athletes from cross country, soccer and volleyball squads that were at least a junior in academic standing and maintain a 3.50 or higher cumulative grade point average at their current institution. The football academic team will be released prior to the NAIA National Championship game next month.
C of I's women's soccer team was one of seven squads nationally to record 10-or-more scholar-athletes, while both the men's and women's cross country team had three recipients and the volleyball team had two.
