2018 Football Notes (Week 7 at Montana Tech)

COMING UP: at No. 25 Montana Tech, Saturday, 1 p.m.

COMPLETE MEDIA GAME NOTES

LIVE STATS / LIVE VIDEO / LIVE AUDIO: Saturday's game at Montana Tech will have Live Stats and Live Video available online for fans unable to make the trip to Butte. Live Stats will be available through Tech's DakStats Portal, with Live Video available through Tech's YouTube Channel. C of I will not have Live Audio available for the game, however, fans can listen to the KBOW-AM radio broadcast online.

HOMECOMING WINS: C of I won their Homecoming game for the second-straight season, improving their record to 24-16-2 since 1933 (not including games from 1938-41 and the inactive periods from 1943-45 and 1977-2013). The Coyotes won 10-consecutive Homecoming games from 1946-55 and are now 3-2 in Homecoming games since football returned in 2014.

ON THE ROAD IN MONTANA: Saturday, the Yotes make the first of three trips to Montana  in the next five weeks. Playing in the Treasure State has been difficult for C of I since football returned in the 2014 season - going winless in four games at Montana Western and going 0-2 at both Montana Tech and Rocky Mountain. The team has split a pair of games at Carroll College, while C of I is a perfect 2-0 all-time at Montana State Northern.

SECOND TIME THROUGH: C of I and the rest of the Frontier Conference begin three-straight weeks of return visits as part of the schedule. In 2018 - the Yotes, Eastern Oregon, Southern Oregon and Montana Tech are all in one scheduling pod and will play home-and-home games, while Carroll, MSU-Northern, Rocky Mountain and Montana Western are in the opposite pod. C of I has swept both games of a home-and-home series just once (2017 vs. Eastern Oregon), split games five times (vs. Montana Western in 2014; vs. EOU in 2015 and 2016; Southern Oregon in 2016; Montana Western in 2017), while losing both games seven times.
